Description

A patient’s ability to make change lies in their inability to comprehend their illness. The motivators and educators— food, sex, toys, and power, inspire patients to invest in their health. Arming patients with necessary information utilizing humor, props, and different learning styles creates in-roads of understanding, and, thus, change and transpormation. Specifically, in my presentation I will discuss and demonstrate what is going on between food and diabetes, heart disease, erectile dysfunction, and women’s sexual health— such that an 8th grader could understand. This makes people feel smart. Educating patients to transform their own health is where true health reform happens.
