University of Colorado Anschutz Health and Wellness Center
Dr. Margaret Eagan is the Associate Medical Director of The University of Colorado’s Anschutz Health and Wellness Center. After attending Georgetown University in Washington DC for college, medical school, and residency she completed her endocrinology and metabolism fellowship at the University of Colorado. Dr. Eagan created and ran Canterbury Wellness Center in Denver for more than 12 years prior to joining the Wellness Center. Dr. Margaret Eagan has always practiced relationship centered care in an integrated healthcare model combining traditional and integrative medicine. She brought her expertise of integrated health care to Anschutz Health and Wellness Center in 2015. Dr. Eagan works with her individual clients on their sleep, nutrition, exercise, endocrine, and mental health care and engages them as active participants in their healthcare. Prior to The Wellness Center, she established Canterburry Wellness Center in 2000 bringing together physicians, advanced practice practitioners, behavioral and sex therapists, dietician, massage therapist, acupuncturist and aesthetician in one central location. She designed and created a beautiful serene waiting area with individually themed treatment rooms to provide a calm, restful experience from the moment you entered the suite. The center embodied an integrated health care model way ahead of its time treating each client as an individual with unique social, physical cultural, emotional, and spiritual makeup.
