Jane Oh grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a first generation Korean-American. She has been practicing internal medicine for over 20 years. Through her yoga practice and becoming a yoga teacher she developed an interest in Mind-Body Medicine which led her to the Mind-Body Medicine Conference at the Benson-Henry Mind Body Institute at Harvard Medical School. This knowledge ignited an interest in healthy living and promoting healthy lifestyle personally and in her medical practice. She has become certified in teaching the SMART program (Stress Management and Resilience Training) through the Benson-Henry Mind Body Institute and is currently doing a research study examining the effect of this training in combatting burnout in neurologists, neuropsychologists and physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians. She is also studying to become board-certified in Lifestyle Medicine.
