Anne S. Bingham M.D., FACOG, DipABLM has been working at Crescent Street OB/GYN, a private practice in Middletown Connecticut, since 1995. The foundation of her plant-based nutrition background is based on the close relationship she has with the Esselstyn family (married to Ted), and was formalized through the certification process of the T. Colin Campbell Nutrition Program as well as the Board Certification process of ABLM. She has lectured in the advantages of a WFPB diet and women’s health.
When not on call, Anne is rediscovering the joy of cooking and has co-founded a monthly community “Plantluck” which continues to thrive in Middletown. She and her husband, Ted Esselstyn, have raised three children plant-based. They met in college at Yale University where she received her BA and captained the Varsity Women’s Ice Hockey team. She went to University of Vermont for her MD and trained at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland for her Residency in OBGYN.
